When you visit our home page, you will see something very special toward the end of the left hand column. It is the i-Cop symbol. Every Internet marketer should be a member of this organization.
Go to: http://www.i-Cop.org and look around, then join. Heck, send i-Cop’s Director, jl scott, an email and tell her I sent you. She is a lady of class and a straight shooter.
If you are serious about Internet marketing, i-Cop is the symbol you want on your site.

Between today and the next issue I will do another mass mailing. I believe some people have not received all of the updates so I will compile them in one spot on S2S and send you the link. Hopefully this is a good idea.

I was surprised to learn the amount of unclaimed money sitting in the coffers of the State Comptroller/State Treasurer is in the billions. How did it get that high?
As best as I can determine, you and me don’t claim it and, in some cases, don’t even know it is there for us to claim. Hard to believe but true.
[ Sidebar: I would locate my State Treasurer or State Comptroller by typing: Nevada State Treasurer or Nevada State Comptroller into google. Simply substitute your state for Nevada and bingo! you are there.]
That’s in the U.S. of A. I would imagine it is the same all over the world. I say this because politicians think alike. They all believe your money is really their money, only on loan to you for a temporary period. The only difference among countries would be the name of the government entity holding the money.
When, for example, you decease, funds left in a bank account are, at a by law designated period of time, automatically sent to the state. They sit there for a by law designated period of time and if not claimed within that time period are put into the general fund.
It isn’t quite that simple but almost.
In the manual I mention having a talk centered on finances with the care receiver and other family members. Let’s say you don’t or your ailing parent refuses to disclose financial details and (s)he passes away. Going one more step, say you don’t even do any follow up to locate their funds. Guess where they end up.
The time clock starts ticking when the institution/state learns the account holder is now with God. Stated simply, if your law says you have five years to claim the money before it is devoured by the state, and you don’t do anything, the bank (or other institution) sends your money to the state at the end of the five year period.
By the way, account inactivity is another reason for your money to be sent to the state. How do I know? It almost happened to my son.
Rather than blather on, I’ll recommend you call your financial institution and ask what circumstances can cause your money to go to the state and the specific law(s) covering those circumstances.
One last word – As I said in the 7th paragraph above this one, all politicians think your money is really their money. You don’t have to live in America to be under such laws. Please call and query. After all, what do you have to lose?

What's Prettier Than Freckles?
An elderly woman and her little grandson, whose face was sprinkled with bright freckles, spent the day at the zoo. Lots of children were waiting in line to get their cheeks painted by a local artist who was decorating them with tiger paws.
"You've got so many freckles, there's no place to paint!" a girl in the line said to the little fella.
Embarrassed, the little boy dropped his head. His grandmother knelt down next to him. "I love your freckles. When I was a little girl I always wanted freckles," she said, while tracing her finger across the child's cheek. "Freckles are beautiful."
The little guy looked up, "Really?"
"Of course," said the grandmother. "Why, just name me one thing that's prettier than freckles."
The little boy thought for a moment. Then peering intensely into his grandma's face, he softly whispered, "Wrinkles."
Until next issue,
