One of the biggest anomalies of baking is that sometimes the cookies come out thick and sometimes they come out flat - even when using the exact same recipe. The secret, believe it or not, is the temperature of the butter: cold butter produces fat cookies while warm or room temperature butter will make the cookies flat.
How to know it is safe to wash with other colors...
If you're like me, you're always hesitating about when to start washing your reds or your dark blue jeans with the rest of your colors. When your white socks get a hole in the heel, save them to wash with your "questionable colors". If the sock stays white, your jeans should be good to go with all your other colors!

Chocolate milk is a great sports recovery drink...
