This Is True...
has just been added to our home page. If you are not familiar with Randy Cassingham's newsletter, you will for sure want to go to the home page and check out the stories he writes about.
All are true and all are taken from legitimate world wide newspapers. The story that will appear on S2S home page will be updated every day. So, come back and, if nothing else, read the true story. I know you will laugh as hard as I do at the shenanigans people do.
I need one (or more) person...
who does NOT live in the U.S. to help me with a program I joined. I am testing a poker affiliate program. Since online gambling is illegal from inside the U.S., the tester will have to be a resident of England, Canada or anywhere in Europe or, well actually, anywhere but here.
Volunteers should email me at: sandalwood@reno.com with TESTER in the subject line. There is a nice thank you for anyone who helps me.
Cholesterol...
is something everyone has heard of but not many know a lot about. For example, high density lipoproteins (HDL) is the good cholesterol. Low density lipoproteins (LDL) is the bad cholesterol.
HDL acts as a scavenger absorbing excess cholesterol. LDL is the stuff that clogs arteries. Enter the egg.
Yep, the guy w/the bad cholesterol reputation. Dr. Dale Kelly,DC, in his May newsletter stated that a recent study has shown that when people ate three or more eggs per day their bodies made bigger LDL and HDL lipoprotein particles.
On the surface that sounds bad but according to the article, large LDL lipoproteins are less likely than their smaller brothers to enter artery walls and contribute their cholesterol to artery-clogging plaque.
As with all health related material, do your own research and always consult with your doctor.
More about the egg...
Stepping over the cholesterol debate for a moment there is something you should know about the egg. He's a good egg is really more than a positive saying.
Eggs are nutrient dense. This means it provides more nutrients than calories to the diet. That is a good thing.
For example, and this is according to the FDA, they contribute 6% of the RDA for riboflavin, 5% of the folate, 4% of the vitamin E and vitamin A and almost 4% of the protein. To top that, the egg probably is the highest quality source of protein.
It has a biological value of 93.7% which, stated another way, is the efficacy with which protein is used for growth. As a comparison, fish is rated at 76% and beef at 74.3%.
Weight loss...
is something a lot of us not only need to do but must do to protect our health. I've been searching the Internet and think I've found one that makes sense. I like the way they present their program and let the visitor make an informed decision.
So, if weight loss is on your mind too, click on the words weight loss and you'll learn about a program I believe is different from the norm and worth at least a read over.
As always, consult w/your medical professional before embarking on any sort of diet or weight loss regimen.
The hardest working...
