Here are two sites...

I believe have some good information. The first is a news site giving the dirty low down on our Congressional representatives and their coziness with big pharma. The second site has some great info and some of it is downloadable for free.

We had a president...

named Ronald Reagan who was very quotable. I stumbled upon some of his quotes and thought you might enjoy reading two of them:

"I have wondered at times about what the Ten Commandments would have
looked like if Moses had run them through the U.S. Congress."

"The most terrifying words in the English language are: I'm from the government and I'm here to help."

If your area is...

like mine, you have an active senior center. I realize outside of the US a senior center would probably be called by a different name. Regardless, it may mimic US senior centers in activities offered.

For example, our local center is offering an exercise class, free btw, for seniors. All you have to do is show up and participate. We all know exercise is beneficial no matter what our age, right?

Not only do we gain, or keep, strength when we exercise but we relieve stress and help lower the blood pressure. Don't forget nutrition. It plays an important role in relieving stress and lowering blood pressure.

A Yale cardiologist, Dr. John Elefreriades, says, "By bringing your weight into line with what it should be, you can produce a 10 to 29 point drop  in blood pressure and you can achieve up to a 10 point drop in blood pressure from regular aerobic exercise."

So I don't sound like I'm pontificating, I'll stop there with an encouragement - exercise.

If you are a member...

of the 100% Work At Home Club, you know one of the work at home ideas is gift baskets. In one of the newsletters I receive this paragraph talked about gift baskets for new moms:

Perfect gift for new and expecting moms
Eat. Sleep. Poop. Splash. These are the clever
box titles you can give to new and expecting moms
as a gift. Each box has all the appropriate "gear"
for that topic. I love the Poop Box. It contains
all the essential items for a diaper bag. This company
is fun! Prices are great, too. Visit Baby Treasure Box
at
www.babytreasurebox.com

Notice if you will, one it is creative, two, it is a BIG market and three, they listed the website address for the people running this program. I don't know about you WAHC members, but I think you now have a business template for your gift basket business.

Until next issue,

Tom Koziol
