Here, word for word, is an email...
I received from Doug describing a piece of free software.

*Hi Tom.*
*Just thought you might not have found this free software. It's called Easy Read, and it simply installs a + and - sign in your browser toolbar. Completely clean and very handy. Enlarges the web pages to any size and is extremely useful with newsletters like Microsoft, and their very small print. Does a great job of pushing the ads off the screen so you can more easily read the content you went after.*
*Regards.*
*Doug*

You have to check it out especially if you are like me and think some websites could use bigger letters. Thanks Doug.
Do you know the best...
way to get germs off a kitchen sponge? No. Well neither did I till I read, rinse it, wring it out and microwave it for 30 to 60 seconds. The microwave kills those nasty germs dead.
Learn something new everyday, right?
If you have a child or...
grandchild going off to college and want to help them by letting them use your credit card but are worried about over spending, here's a way to give them the card but keep control.
Let them cosign your credit card. This is different than making them an authorized user (AU) by the way. If you aren't familiar with the pracitce of making someone an AU, google the term.
As a cosignor, they will have access to the credit line and build a credit history while the monthly statements will come directly to you, i.e., you keep control because you get the statements with each month's expenditures clearly detailed for you.
Mammograms have been getting...
bum reviews as the best detection procedure for breast cancer as of late. The Mayo clinic thinks women should have a molecular breast imaging test instead. It seems the MBI, which is really a magnetic resonance imaging test (MRI), is almost twice as accurate.
I would think this is of such significance that women at risk for breast cancer would certainly raise the issue with their doctors. If mammograms are accurate at only about 50% of the time and MBIs are accurate about 86% of the time, this seems like a no brainer.
If you are interested in...
taking surveys and actually getting paid for your particpation, check out:

They credit you with a dollar when you complete your profile and pay from one to five dollars per completed survey. I just completed my first survey and was paid five bux. This brought my account to $6, one dollar over the request limit.
Guess who requested their $6? Yep, got a check the other day so they are reputable.
